Dear Jack,
What do you mean you're not surprised it was for work? Are you trying to insinuate something?
My Christmas was fine. Usual. How was yours? Were you able to spend it in the bar or were you back in your cabin? The one thing that I always found annoying about the bar was going in-between the seasons like that. Winter in the bar, summer back home - it always left me feeling off-balance.
Oh, you're too soft. Winters in Canada only last what - six, seven months? Montreal would be nice but it looks like it's about as cold as Toronto. Though spending that time indoors is fine by me.
Or maybe Vancouver? Have you ever been out there? I haven't but the weather's pretty warm for this time of year - 40s and 50s. If you want to stay out of the big cities, there's a couple cute, touristy towns around there we could stay in.
So how did that talk with Angie go?
