Chris heads up the stairs after her talk with Kim. She walks into her room and doesn't pay much attention to whether the door closes all the way. She can shut it in a minute.

She sits down in a chair by the window and tries to calm down.

It was nothing. It didn't mean anything. It was just one kiss.

She can see the lake from here. She almost wishes she couldn't but she can still feel his kiss.

He's kissing her throat and shoulders, tasting her skin when he feels her tense and he knows she's close. He's nearly there himself, another minute and he won't be able to hold back, but he wants her to peak first, doesn't want to leave her unsatisfied after all this.

He thrusts into her a little harder, sucking on her earlobe. Just a little more, to push her over the edge.

Her movements quicken and she's clawing at the sheets as the pressure builds.

He thrusts into her harder. His body rubbing against hers a little more fiercely and she gasps his name as her climax washes over her.

She clenches around him, and he manages a couple more thursts, a glimpse of the expression on her face before there's no more holding back. His orgasm hits him like a shockwave, and he lets out a strangled moan, his back arching as he rides it out.

He comes back down to earth gasping for breath, every nerve still tingling. Looking back up at Chris, he smiles and pulls her close for a gentle kiss.

Still trembling, she lies on top of him, trying not to collapse.

Her lips against his, she smiles back as she kisses him. Just slow, soft kisses as her pulse steadies.

He rolls them so they're lying next to each other; an opportunity for more contact without the small problem of restricting his breathing.

He brushes her hair away from her cheek with the back of his fingers, just looking at her face, her eyes for a moment. "You're beautiful," he whispers.

Chris leans into his touch, the look in his eyes making her blush even more than the words alone.

She turns her head slightly, kissing his hand. "Thank you," she softly replies.

He strokes her cheekbone with his thumb for a moment before leaning toward her and briefly kissing her again.

He's starting to drift, fatigue setting in, but he doesn't want to leave and go back to his room. Doesn't want this to end.

It would be very easy right now to just fall asleep in Jack's arms. Very tempting too. But as the sweat on her body cools she realizes she'll need more than his arms to keep her warm.

She sits up and tugs at the covers folded at the foot of the bed. Unfolding the light blanket, she pulls it over them. Chris lies down again, facing Jack and curling up closer to him.

He curls up next to her, wrapping one arm around her waist. He can feel her warm body close to his, hear her breathing change as she starts to slip into sleep. It's a cozy, comfortable feeling, and so he smiles as he drifts off to sleep.
