.) Despite being raised Catholic and attending Catholic schools, Chris no longer practices. She always considered herself agnostic but the whole Milliways thing is making her rethink that.
.) When she was 22, Chris was engaged for one week. It was to her boyfriend of 3 years, Alex Haynes. The relationship had been on rocky ground before the engagement and her mother's illness made Chris realize she was staying with him for the wrong reasons.
.) Chrisis was afraid of aliens. As in extraterrestials. She got over it by convincing herself they don't exist. She obviously hasn't met all the residents of Milliways.
.) Chris was an X-Phile. She was really, really into the show. She watched every episodes, bought tons of merchandise and even wrotereally, really bad fanfic.
.) She's a bit of a video game/computer game fanatic. Her favorite game is HALO 2.
.) Chris has PTSD related to the Britney Spears song "...Baby One More Time". Seriously. She and a friend were washing a car on base (I'm not sure where - in the Middle East maybe in Iraq) and listening (and singing along to) the Spears' hit when a SCUD missile came close to where they were. As they were required to do they got their gas masks on and took cover. After the crisis was over her CO asked the group "Who the hell was singing 'Hit me, Baby, one more time'?" Chris didn't fess up and even now hearing that song makes her a little uncomfortable.
.) She loves learning about different fighting styles. She thinks it's both useful and interesting. She's studied several forms including karate, Krav Maga, kickboxing and Capoeria. The only one that she is proficient in is kickboxing. Chris would like to take a class in another one (probably Krav Maga) but she gets very nervous about practice fighting. She doesn't like getting into physical fights and has trouble in classes because she doesn't always hit as hard as she should.
.) Like everyone else in her family she can play the piano, thanks to her mom. Due to her mom's interest in musicand her own childhood dream of being a singer she was in the choir at school for several years. She finally gave up when she realized she can't sing. Her voice won't shatter glass but ... no.
.) While Chris has always been a geek she was never unpopular. Or popular either. In school she usually had her own little group of friends and one best friend that she still talks to today.
.) Chris has glasses she should wear all the time but she only really wears when driving. She doesn't have a problem with glasses - she thinks they look quite cute on her - but when working on a computer (which is a large amount portion of the time) they hurt her eyes.
.) She knows every word to every song on the They Might Be Giants album, Flood.
.) Even though they fought like cats and dogs as children (ask Ryan Sr. about this!) and still squabble a bit now, her brother Ryan Jr. is one of her best friends.
.) Chris' actually introduced her brother and sister-in-law to one another. Jeannie Robinson (now Chappelle) was her roommate her first year at USMA.
.) She gets her love of astronomy from her father. To help her get over her fear of aliens he got her interested in learning about the stars and even bought her a telescope and helped her spot constellations.
.) Caiti, in some ways, is her baby. Being about nine when her younger sister was born she sort of looked at Caiti as a real-live doll and a possible mini-me. They didn't really have a typical relationship and after their mom died Chris tried to step into the mother role for Caiti with varying degrees of success.
.) Chris and Ryan Jr. never knew what their father did. Chris actually didn't know until recently that her father worked for the CIA. She suspected (thanks Uncle Sean!) but didn't know. They were told he worked for the State Departmentlike Mulder's dad.
.) Chris gets her skepticism/cynical streak from her father and Uncle Sean. Her fascination with conspiracy theories is thanks to Sean too (although she's less likely to believe them than Sean is).
.) Chris started working for CTU because of her father but not for the reason you may think. Yes, she was interested in the work he did, yes he did try to recruit her. But what won her over was a talk they had shortly after Day 2 where he told her how much he admired the people he worked and she realized how important their jobs were.
.) Despite the agnosticism thing, she prayed every day when her mom was diagnosed for some sort of miracle cure. It never came and even though she wouldn't admit it, she's very angry at God.
.) She's not sure if she'll ever be able to think of September 20th as another day and not the day her father died. She certainly doesn't think she'll be able to see it as her birthday again.
.) Chris is angry with her father for forgiving Jack for killing him and even trying to befriend him.
.) Chris admires her father for forgiving Jack for killing him and even trying to befriend him.
.) Part of the reason Chris doesn't let go of her anger towards Jack (and David Palmer) is because she sees it as almost betraying her brother and sister. If they can't move on, she shouldn't either. And even though it's not what her father wants she still sees it as a betrayal of him to let go of her anger. Someone should be angry for what happened to him and if can't or won't be - she will. This is what she tells herself.
.) Chris has never really hated anyone in her entire life. She hates Stephen Saunders as much as she can but he's dead and she knows it's pointless focusing on him. She wants very much to hate Jack Bauer and David Palmer but she can't. She understand the reasons and she's seen the former as a person and not just a finger on the trigger. She's not sure how she feels about this.
