Just a cold
Jul. 6th, 2005 11:08 amHer throat was dry and scratchy, that was the first thing Chris noticed when she woke up.
That and that her head felt a little cloudy when she sat up.
She wasn't very surprised to be sick. She hadn't been eating or sleeping well for the past couple of weeks. A lot of stress and she was living in close quarters with hundreds of other people just made her a ripe target to get sick.
An immune system can only handle so much.
Chris got up out bed, scratching her right hand absently.
First, a hot shower. It would help her sinuses. Then downstairs to pick up some soup and orange juice. Maybe some medicine and a humidifier. And finally, bed rest.
