Ryan looks at her - she looks so young. So small and lost.

"Sometimes I am angry with him but in the end I can't hate him for what he did. I know there weren't any other options. That it was something he had to do not that he wanted to do," he says with a sigh.

He looks at the floor not sure if he could say this next part even though he knew Chris had long ago abandoned the notion that he was infallible.

"Our job sometimes means making tough decisions. I've never had to do what Jack has but I've done things that were similar in some ways."
